Body Visible/Body Invisible * An Intensive In-Depth Study of Authentic Movement * with Cassielle Bull September 2011-June 2012 |

The Program:
Body Visible Body Invisible consists of ten weekend intensives, September 2011 thru May 2012 - learning to facilitate authentic movement groups. Authentic movement is a profound though simple form where an individual moves with eyes closed in the presence of a witness – allowing for a deep re-connection with self and other. It allows us to explore and learn how feelings, memories, energy, and our connection to a larger reality move in our body. Growing our awareness in this way becomes a doorway to act on and in our world with a sense of authenticity, accessing the wisdom of our moving body to live in our essence and effect change in our world.
To
maximize intimacy and trust the intensive is held at the Maacama
Retreat Center in Sonoma County - 10 wooded acres on a secluded
river two hours north of San Francisco between Calistoga and
Healdsburg. We will meet in a beautiful high-ceilinged studio,
prepare meals together in a big country kitchen and sleep in shared
living quarters.
We live in times of ever-increasing fragmentation and alienation – from each other, and from our own bodies. Our realities become ever more virtual, and less simple and tangible. In this state, it becomes difficult to know how to act in a way that will transform or even help our world.
Body
Visible/Body Invisible (BVBI) is an exploration of your own personal
evolution using authentic movement and related forms to understand
the flow of your own life force.
Exploring the interactions between the visible and invisible
realms you can learn how the wisdom of the moving body can deepen
your work as therapists, teachers, artists, parents, and evolving
human beings.
